Development characteristics

一、Development History
The Department of Applied Foreign Languages was established in '91 to nurture foreign language professionals who meet the needs of a globalized international community. At present, the department has three academic systems: Four-year Undergraduate Program (Day School), Four-year Undergraduate Program (Night School) and Two-year Continuing Education Program. The Department currently has 13 full-time teachers, 100% of whom are PhD teachers. Since its establishment, the Department has been steadily growing and nurturing professionals with multi-language communication skills for the country and society.

Continue to provide collaborative teaching by industry teachers to enhance students’ practical knowledge; expand the number of internships at home and abroad for students during semesters and academic years.

5. Student employability: Assist students to improve their English, Japanese, and Korean majors and practical certificate results.
 
6. International exchange: Continue to organize student/teacher overseas exchange programs, distance video courses, collaborative teaching by foreign experts and scholars, and other activities.

 The Department of Applied Foreign Languages cultivates “practical foreign language professionals”, attaches great importance to the improvement of foreign language majors, and emphasizes practical teaching. Focus on the training of TOEIC, JLPT and TOPIK language certificates, and assist in the guidance of practical certificates, such as foreign language tour guides, exhibitions.
